Yesterday I had the pleasure of playing Ethel in Annie Golden's first read-through of her piece, "The Hard Place" at Champion Studios.
The play is set in South Philadelphia in 1918 and the characters are members of a fractured classical theatre troupe, struggling to retain their humanity and themselves as the world they knew crumbles. The war, anti-German sentiment, and the 'Spanish flu' of that year all have strong presences in the play, and I really can't wait to see how Annie develops this piece over the next few months... and it was pretty cool to be part of a female-heavy show (with the exception of the lovely Justin Choi playing Arthur!) Seriously great way to spend a Monday! #newworksinnewyork

3/4/2018 A bucket list show, a show I never thought I'd get to do, and a show that keeps popping into my life...Read NowTotally over the moon to finally share that I’ll be heading to Colorado again this summer, but this time working with the fabulous Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre in Trinidad, CO!
I’ll be playing the Narrator (a role typically played by a man, and one that plays 10+ characters!) in one of my BUCKET LIST SHOWS “Fly By Night, Ensemble in “Evita” and Veronica in "God of Carnage." Is it May yet? ;) |
